Pigeon Media Solutions now offer a fantastic Green Screen Chroma keying service. Ideal for marketing and promotional videos as well as photography and websites. Green screen is an innovative way to add some edge and visual interest to your production while keeping costs low.

We have used foam-backed green screen and blue screen material in a number of productions and have found it to be the best for use with digital video, 35mm film, 24p high definition, and still photography. Our chroma key fabric is unbeatable in quality, and is the number one chroma key fabric used by professionals across the film industry.

The most common example of chroma keying would be that of a weather report you see on television, the presenter is not actually stood in front of a map but are in actual fact, stood in front a plain green background, by placing the presenter in front of a green screen, the image processing software is instructed to remove the screen and replace this with a background image of the weather map. This technique is called Chroma keying and is done with in-picture electronic switching between two video sources.

Our portable Green Screen system gives the flexibility to shoot in any ordinary office location, we bring the location to you, which in turn eliminates the need and the expense of providing a studio set or alternative location. This greatly reduces the demands on the Clients valuable time and significantly reduces set-up costs.

Keep in mind that the Chroma key backdrop shouldn’t resemble colours in your scene. For example, if you are shooting footage of a person wearing green clothes, then they will just blend into the Green Screen background.
